My name is Ivy Waweru. I’m a 24-year-old disabled mom of one. I have a condition called Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI), also known as brittle bone disease or Lobstein syndrome, a congenital bone disorder characterized by brittle bones that are prone to fracture.

The I AM WOMAN campaign is a way for me to voice the challenges, misconceptions and discrimination that surround the disabled mother while giving hope to young disabled women and girls.Speaking from experience.
